1. I accept that the Hirer has hired the above-mentioned vehicle to me and I am bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement.
2. I confirm that I have been made aware of the operation of the hire vehicle controls and its performance.
3. I accept that I will be the sole driver of the vehicle during the period of the hire and confirm that I that I hold a valid driving licence for the hire vehicle, valid for the duration of the hire.
4. I accept that the Hirer shall not be liable for any loss or damage to property carried in or on the vehicle during the hire and I am responsible for the safe care and use of the vehicle during the hire period.
5. I accept the vehicle will be returned on completion of the work on my vehicle.
6. I accept liability for any offences arising from my use of the vehicle under the Road Traffic Act, Road Traffic Offenders Act and Road Traffic Regulations, subordinate legislation, congestion charges, parking or any penalties while hiring the said car and shall indemnify the Hirer accordingly.
7. I confirm that I shall contact the Hirer immediately in the event of an accident or breakdown.
8. I confirm that I am not authorised to arrange for recovery or repairs without the consent of the Hirer.
9. I understand that I am responsible for the fuel and other consumables, and for checking and maintaining levels, and tyre pressures during the period of the hire. I undertake to inform the Hirer in the event of any mechanical issue arising.
10. I accept the vehicle is insured for social, domestic and pleasure purposes and in the event of any claim I will be liable for the excess.
11. I confirm that I have been made aware of the insurance limitations and that a copy of the insurance limitations can be seen upon request. Limitations include (but not limited to) no hire for reward, racing, time trials, pace car, breakdown or recovery.
12. I confirm that I (or any passengers) WILL NOT smoke or vape inside the vehicle.
